Carson I. Nicolson practices in the areas of consumer banking regulation, including RESPA, commercial loan closings and the family law areas of civil juvenile law and domestic violence. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1987. She served on the Editorial Board of the Alabama Law Review from 1985 to 1987, and was Student Works Editor from 1986 to 1987. She was a recipient of the M. Leigh Harrison Award, and was a Hugo Black Legal Scholar.
